Last Wednesday - Musee d'Orsay
Apologies to those who were wondering if we've somehow fallen off the planet. We're back online with a few quick catchup posts. Our last day in Paris was spent wandering the fantastic Musee d'Orsay gallery, which, like other trip high-points, doesn't allow photos. Within moments of coming through the door we were looking at van Gogh's famous self portrait, and a field of flowers by Monet. Onwards to Millet's fabulous 'Gleaners', Tolouse-Lautrec, Renoir, Millet, dancers by Degas, sculptures by Rodin... in short, my favourite gallery so far.

Oh I so want to see all those, lucky we didn't bother with the Canberra exhibit after all.
ReplyDeleteYeah, except lots were off on exhibition in Japan, and probably Canberra as well!
