Turn off just before Niagara Falls and you'll come to the historic village of Niagara on the Lake. Our local guide Carolyn wisely diverted us through the town for a few hours of sightseeing and gourmet sampling... knowing that you can't actually stand ALL day just looking at a big waterfall.
