Friday, it was great fun to catch up with Maurie and Helen Cropper at the Borough Markets, which have been in the same location since the 13th century. Some of the cheeses smelt almost that old too. The Monmouth coffee was terrific, wth unlimited bread and jam for lunch. Plus the smelly cheese we smuggled in from next door. as usual, catching up with friends was more exciting than all the landmarks in the world.
