Ironically, our five-hour delayed flight from Gatwick took us directly over Iceland... ironic, because the volcanic ash cloud from Iceland was the reason for our delay. We couldn't spot the cloud, but the scenery from the plane was terrific. It was a long and frustrating day, but the Air Transat flight was surprisingly good, with plenty of leg room.
