Church at St Helens and Spitalfield Markets
Picture:Buying a lava necklace at the markets
St Helens Bishopsgate Church of England, led by William Taylor, is one of the leading evangelical churches in the country. 400 or so gathered for the excellent morning service, where we were met and looked after by Jacqueline Mantle, daughter of Godfrey and Jenny at MPC. Afterwards, we wandered down for lunch at the S&M (Sausages and Mash) Cafe, and browsed around the Spitalfield Markets. We found Lou a nifty necklace made from lava from and Icelandic volcano, which we figured made the ideal souvenir!
