Next day (was it Thursday 6th?) we caught the train to Wanstead, where we booked in to hotel de cousin Alison. She and Frank were wonderfully gracious hosts. Back on the tube that afternoon for a quick ride to the Tower of London, which we found a little underwhelming. The crown jewels were kind of impressive, though we weren't allowed to take photos. Here's some old armour instead.
