Nazareth, Pennsylvania, is the home of the world famous Martin Guitar factory. On a drizzly Tuesday, what better way to spend a day than taking a tour? Non-guitarists Malcolm and Louise were very gracious in taking an interest, while I was spellbound. Around 190 guitars a day roll of the production line, which consists of over 300 different stages. It's a neat mix of high tech laser cutting, robotic buffing and delicate hand crafting, with a staff of around 400 very ordinary looking people - often with extraordinary skills.
