Thanks Damien and Christina!

Our weekend in New Jersey (just over the bridge from NYC) has come to an end, and we want to say a huge thankyou to Damien and Christina Flux for their exceptional hospitality. Here are some outstanding features:
a)The coffee bar in the kitchn was open all hours, with a huge range of coffee pods of all flavours. And the hazelnut coffeemate was sensational.
b)Damien let us fool around with his iPad. We both loved it, though still haven't decided whether to buy one. (The maths might work out if I did this instead of subscribing to the Courier Mail.)
c) Damien continued to astonish us with generous offers of transport to and from the bus, to and from the city centre(!) on Sunday afternoon, and even all the way to Philadelphia(!!!) this morning, where he handed us on to our friend Malcolm just near junction 7 on the Philadelphia Turnpike. Did you know, by the way, that a turn-pike was an ancient english toll road? The pike was a pole that lay across the road with a pivot in the centre. When your toll was paid, the pike was turned to let you through.
